David Himmelgreen named as Fellow of AAAS

David Himmelgreen, an incoming member of the SfAA Board of Directors, has been named as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. This honor recognizes David's "distinguished contributions to the field of anthropology, particularly for research and programs mitigating global food insecurity, especially for marginalized populations, and in relation to HIV/AIDS and nutritionally related diseases."
