SfAA members with a shared interest can request the Board to establish a Topical Interest Group (TIG). These groups serve as informal networks for collaboration and information exchange.
How to Form a TIG
- Submit a request to the Board, including:
- A brief explanation of the topic’s relevance to applied social science
- A list of founding members
TIG Activities
- Publish updates on the SfAA website
- Organize sessions at the Annual Meeting
- Request a meeting room at the Annual Meeting
TIGs must submit a written report to the Board each year before the fall meeting.
