Fellows of the Society for Applied Anthropology are members who have demonstrated service to SfAA and advanced expertise in research or the application of behavioral science in contemporary societies. This expertise may come from training in anthropology, other social sciences, related fields, or through professional experience.

Members may become Fellows through nomination by a current Fellow, the Board of Directors, or self-nomination. All nominations are submitted to the Board of Directors for review.

Fellows must pay annual dues to maintain their status. If dues are overdue by a year or more, Fellows may be reinstated upon resuming payment.
