Anas AIT BAMOUH is a Moroccan medical anthropologist and sociologist with academic interest in medical anthropology and sociology. He conducted an MA project on the theme of cosmetic surgery in Morocco, using Rabat and Casablanca as case studies (2019–2021), and in anthropology of the body, he completed a BA thesis on the topic “The Body Inside Sports Halls/Fitness Theme: Body, Health, and Culture” (2017–2018). His research interests also include gender, culture, and sexuality in Morocco and globally, forming the basis of his PhD research proposal (2025) on sexual relationships between young men and older women in Morocco. He also focuses on discussions and projects related to masculinity and femininity in changing and contemporary societies, as well as mental health, psychiatry, and anthropology.

Professionally, he is the founding President of the National Youth Council for Health in Morocco (NGO)—the first project of its kind in the country (founded in July 2024)—where he leads initiatives empowering Moroccan youth from the 24 departments of the council to work on health development as a shared team goal across cultural, scientific, academic, professional, and economic sectors. His interests also include leadership programs, national and international communication and partnerships, youth and health projects, and social innovation.
